A Splash of Fall in the Winter
Try to Stay Fab...even in the cold!
When I checked my forecast today I was surprised when it stated Atlanta was expecting snow this weekend! As long as I've been living in Atlanta, I am still not use to this weather and I am so over the cold. One day its in the 40s, another day it's the 70s. You just never know what to expect living here. I'm not complaining because despite the weather and the traffic, it's a great city but YALL ...sometimes I'm over it!
Anywho, last week I had the chance to stop by a local consignment boutique called Revive. Revive Consignment Store has a couple of locations around Atlanta and each store is filled with gems. You can find houseware, name brand clothes and shoes, and super cute accessories all at each location. The cool thing about this consignment shop is that the houseware goes down in percentage discounts every week it doesn't sell, so you can probably get a great bed frame or set for less than $100. Whenever I'm looking for dresses for work or a night out but don't want to break the bank, I head over to this store to see what I can find. While browsing the store last week, I came across a cute velvet blouse that still had the original tag on it. The blouse was from Banana Republic ($6) and it fit like a glove! Velvet is always a YES in the winter time so I knew this would be a great addition to my closet. After finding this gem, I came across some Anne Klein dress pants that were $9 with 70% off. I literally walked out with the pants being purchased for $3! Such a steal!!
While at the register closing up my transaction, I found some super cute earrings that were $4. They paired perfectly with this look and I was so pleased with my items. The whole ensemble was $13 excluding the shoes.
Shopping doesn't have to be stressful and take a lot of effort. Find what works for you and expand on it.
Do you all like this look? Let me know your opinions (By the way, the treachcoat was thrifted as well and given as a gift)
