Why do I feel like this year is going by really fast and really slow already!?
Yesterday I had an overwhelming feeling when I looked on social media. I immediately noticed a lot of people talking about their new year's resolution and their goals and I kind of got anxious when I started reading everyone's post. Maybe it's just the New Years blues, but I kind of felt like I needed to catch up to these people. I literally had to close out my apps and reevaluate how I was feeling. Am I the only one who's feeling this way? I told myself in the last post that I wasn't going to compare my life to anyone else's..so I'm not. I am going in my own pace and whatever God has for me, I am going to accept it and remind myself how blessed I am. Don't let the "noise" around you distract you from your goals. Just because your friends or social media associates might have their goals aligned the first week of the year, it's okay if you don't. Start on your own pace, be patient and work towards your own specific goals.
Back to Fashion....this cute outfit below was thrifted of course. The jacket was purchased for $5 at Revive Consignment shop here in Atlanta. It's so fun and super cozy for these cold winter days. I paired it with a red sweater that was $3 from Goodwill and some black jeans purchased from a store in the mall. My accessories included a Kate spade purse and some forever 21 patent leather heels. These heels are so fun and you could probably find these still in stores. Oh yea, Fenty Beauty on my lips! Such a beautiful red lipstick.
